If you are able to connect to your provider, and make/ receive calls, SMS, use packet data, and so on, you should be fine. They are all the same, they are just packaged based on location. It may set your time zone to CAT by default, select a specific language by default, and so on.

I'm not 100%sure about CM, but you can download fonts and install it under settings on stock FW. There should be something similar for CM. Also, if no one can help you here, the chaps at XDA will have an answer.

I had stock GB, custom GB, then various stock ICS, custom ICS, CM, RR, stock JB, NeatRom, Omega and never had a problem. I actually lost count of FW/ROMS and kernel combinations I tried before. Titanium Backup was one of my first root apps and I used that to backup/restore Drive & Walk on multiple occasions. The big secret to avoid random shait is to make full backups with TB and CWM. And NEVER restore app data a new/different rom. There is a reason why some FW/ROMs automatically do a full wipe. Restore only the app. If it fails, restore the backup made in recovery. But remember that whenever you flash anything, you do so at your own risk.

No problems (except the battery of course) here. So staying with it as is, thanks.

Something borked my recovery again while updating CM10.2! Think I'm going to just go back to 10.1 for now, wait until there are more stable releases.
 
No easy way unfortunately:

Well I manage to fix my phone this way :

1.Download v3.04 Odin http://forum.xda-dev...29&d=1338290578
2.Download CWM 6.0.2.9 http://d-h.st/pQK
3.Download 20130821-Nightly (it was last known for me that works normally) http://get.cm/?device=i9100
4.Download Gapps for android 4.3 http://goo.im/gapps
5.Put Nightly and gapps to your SDCard
6.Put your i9100 into Download MODE (Home + Volume Down + Power)
7.Open Odin v3.04
8.Connect your device to your computer and wait till odin writes "added!!"
9.Select PDA and choose "GT-I9100_JB_ClockworkMod-Recovery_6.0.2.9.tar"
10.Press START
11.After your phone restarted go to recovery mode (Home + Volume up + Power)
12.Install ROM and Gapps from SDCard
13.Do wipe/factory reset
14.Wipe Dalvik Cache
15.Reboot

Was that when upgrading from CM10.1 to CM10.2 or upgrading CM10.2 to a newer version of CM10.2?
