I have been using Omega V23 as my main ROM. It has been very stable, but suddenly during the last week or so the phone just hangs and I either need to take out the battery or hold down the power button to restart. When on again the battery percentage would drop to below 20%. This morning it did this and went from 92% to 6%! Anyone else had this before?

I've moved on from Omega to JellyBam. It's bloody awesome.

I want to sell my S2 with original box and accessories for R1900 everything is perfect except for scratches on the metal edging. Anyone know a good place to sell it to?

Hey Guys

So it's been a while since I've posted on this thread since my s2 got stolen.
Anyway after a while I've finally got through with Cell C insurance, and they are going to replace the phone.

They've given me 3 options:
- A galaxy s3 mini
- A galaxy s3 (I must pay in R900)
- A nokia lumia 820

Any advice on which I should go for, bearing in mind that I will probably just want to sell the phone without using it, seeing as that I will be getting an s4 in a week or two.

I'm thinking it would work out better for me to pay in on the s3? It should sell for more than R900 more than the s3 mini right?

Can't the insurance pay you out (cash) ?
That gives you the option to buy a cheapie and keep the extra cash. You will lose more by opening a new phone and using it for 2 weeks or so.

So, fellow S2 owners, which of you are contemplating / already are moving over to the S4?

Not me. I'm keeping my device until the new Nexus comes along. It's sad because I'm due for an upgrade now. I'm tired of waiting months for Android updates and buggy CM builds (to try and get the new version of Android) due to lack of documentation.

That is my plan as well, but I might hop over to a Note 2, dependant on how much it impresses me...

Nice... ETA?

As soon as Vodacom  have stock. Reason I am going with Vodacom is because I can just take my ID and get my upgrade, whereas if I change to another SP, I'll need payslips, bank statements etc and I don't have lus for that :-/

I think I'm done with Galaxy devices. The Android update problem is inherent amongst all of them. In the beginning I really enjoyed trying new ROM's but now I don't want to have to setup my device all the time (lockscreen, widgets, settings, etc.) after flashing.
