Busy grabbing Litening from my dropbox as well, haven't been too impressed with Cognition.
I will give Litening a fair try, otherwise I will go back to VillianROM.

Flashed to Lite'ning rom, 2.3.4 KG3 last night. It looks awesome!

Why, oh why did you ever point me in the dirrection of this game... I am now laying in bed until wee hours perfecting my launches and changes :D
Very addictive game. Had my S2000 on max mods doing a 10.2 ¼mile... just sold it for a Shelby GT500 - boy does this thing need some NOS though
ok then, seems like I got a lil side tracked after downloading some games, in particular drag racing... still have other games to "test" out but jeez that Drag Racing game is HOT.
Def. one to get if you like that kinda game...

As for the flashing, I think I'll start that tomorrow night again after work... want to wait for CF-Root for KG3, instead of flashing KG2 CF-Root....

Cheers
D

What do you mean?

I want my phone to use my laptop's internet connection at work as the client site doesn't have WiFi. I proceeded to create an ad-hoc wireless network in Windows 7, but to my surprise, my phone won't detect it at all. With some googling I found out that Android doesn't support ad-hoc wireless networks.

I ordered mine on Sunday, July 24th via Express Mail. Last night I received a tracking code. I really hope it arrives by next week Friday latest.

I really find it stupid that android won't recognize ad-hoc wireless networks. Plus neither connectify or virtual router wants to work on my laptop.

I thought there was something wrong that I was doing, I also tried Connectify and setting up an Ad-hoc wireless network on my laptop but my SGS2 wont recognise them!

Well, we have a Wi-Fi at work, I tried connecting with my SGS2 but it gets stuck at "Obtaining IP address...." but never actually connects! This really sucks!

I can get on our WiFi at work but from then-on it's useless. Android doesn't support proxy authentication with a username and password so I cant get on the internet. This is very stupid, as Symbian, apple and blackberry all support this. Really stupid from them to overlook this.

I had the same issue at home, because I was using Pure Bridged mode on my router and though the phone could detect the wireless network and connect, nothing would work. ie: no internet/market etc. I got it to work by running my router via PPPOE (username and password in the router) and the Wifi worked. It's a bit of a schlep, I know but it's the only way wifi works.

So, this basically means I cant use wifi at work????

"Obtaining IP address...."[/B][/I] but never actually connects! This really sucks!

Is the network maybe not configured to only allow certain hosts to connect to it?

It is so irritating. My friend recommended an app called "transparent proxy". I never tried it yet so I can't say if it works or not. He says it is the only proxy app that he has used which works.

Awesome, thanks. I will give it a try.

Hi Onaz,

Received mine today. I also used the $6 USPS service. Took about 4 weeks.

For anyone interested in getting Google Nav to work, Brut.all has basically stopped development of "BRUT Maps" but others have picked up on it and developed it using the newest 5.7.0 mapset.
Info and instructions can be found on xda-developers.
[Phone needs to be rooted for uninstalling system apps]

four weeks is too long man almost dropped my phone and i found myself upset , just sick and tired of waiting for that thing i am actually feel like buying another one and choosing faster delivery option so i can get to use that as in this week.

when did u make a purchase for yours, which date ?

Turns out I was talking rubbish. Felt like four weeks though, enough time to scratch my screen and one drop... I placed the order on the 10th of July and it arrived at the post office yesterday, 25th July.
