Has anyone run both Litening and Miui? How do they compare in terms of interface and performance?
 
Ya so I'll try another rom this weekend, just wanna play around with miui a bit more.
 
Google Maps Navigation Lands in South Africa

I'm sure you guys have read this, I checked my phone and IT WORKS!


The availability of Google Maps Navigation for Android in South Africa has just been announced at today’s Sony Ericsson Android event in Johannesburg.

We had a quick look right after the announcement, and it was already enabled and working. This is very big news, especially in a country like South Africa, where dedicated GPS units are still selling like hotcakes.

Woot!

Organised an upgrade through Autopage on Vodacom talk 240 contract and only have to pay in R800.00 down from R2500.

Can't wait!

So I installed miui last night. Very nice looking, I love the way the menus work.. It is however a little slower and feels less responsive than the Villian one.

beta 32 build 1.7.29

It could have been the cpu program i had installed.. Removed it, seems to be running faster now.
 
this phone with its LED screen,dual core CPU,latest Android OS.....too many features to type.....top of the range. its just brilliant.Got it for 2 months now. iphone will not have a long life
 
i got mine yesterday - i must say its a HUGE learning curve from the nokia n97 - or maybe i am just dumb...either way i love it. gone through 100MB in one day...eek
 
I just popped into the Samsung Store in Canal Walk to get a car charger & navigation dock for the car... They dont stock any accessories for the Galaxy S2, in fact they do not even carry stock of the phone. They expect accessories to arrive in the country only near the end of August!!!!!
