Yea, saw it on xda, but its a frankenstein rom, and I dont want to risk wiping my phone. You can get it from xda. It is a leaked rom. I was on ke7and kies told me it was the latest. Kies is useless

Hello All, question the samsung drive & Walk navigation software that came with the stock can we get it somewhere as I really liked it before flashing to Lite'ning rom v6. Please help me out, or tell me what navigation software you all are using. thanks
I alter between CoPilot and Google Maps. CoPilot mainly because that is what I am used to, but starting to enjoy Google Maps. It is very accurate and love the way it shows me a picture of my destination just before I arrive at it. Have also played with the Google Maps street view navigation but it is a little data hungry so mainly use it as a novelty.
Cool then I am looking for navigation software that has got maps image so it does not use data like samsung drive and walk. does copilot have map images for south africa
Ye - CoPilot runs completely offline and has full support for Southern Africa. Pretty neat nav app. Nicer than my stand-alone Garmin.
Google Maps has a labs feature for caching the maps. So while you can manually cache the maps while on wi-fi it is a pain. Looking for a simpler method to get the maps available offline as I would prefer to use Google. Will report back if I find anything.
ok cool then thanks a mil where did you find the maps image for copilot south africa image and also where did you find copilot please help thanks a mil
Here we go: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.alk.copilot.marketplace.af.full&feature=search_result
You can also search in the app market on you cell: "Copilot south africa". Will come back with only one result which is the correct one.
