lol ok cool then is there a free version out there maybe
Nah. Sorry man. I know it is a bit of a gamble dropping R300 odd on an app you have not tried out, but from what I remember there was a refund window so you could try it out.
I noticed now that Garmin has entered the Android market and at a good introductory price of R99. https://market.android.com/details?...llo.lp.GarmapforMobile&feature=also_installed
Maybe give that a whirl?
ok cool then will find a free version of co-pilot android somewhere thanks.
PS. Have any of you heard when we might get the 2.3.4 update yet?
There is a website tracking the global rollout but I am sure we will get it last![]()
I think I am going to root my SGS2 this weekend, would appreciate a link with detailed instructions, Im not very technically minded! Need something foolproof.
Going to leave the stock ROM on for now.
If I do go for a Custom ROM soon, Im considering the CyanogenMod due to their close relationship with Samsung.
That looks simple enough... Im still a little nervous about doing it.
So all I need to do is download & install this ODIN thing, then follow Hellcats instructions - how do I know which Kernel thingy to choose for my phone?
Current Settings (stock):
Android 2.3.3
Kernel 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKE7
I also assume it is a good idea to download & pay for Titanium Backup Pro? Follow various forums it is highly recommended?
