Fixed! Between K-Tool, EFS Pro and Samsung stock, I got my efs partition to the point where a simple copy and paste did the trick!

I can now breathe again. And flash Resurrection. ;)
 
Been so happy with Nova Launcher on my stock ICS ROM & decided to purchase the Prime version to support the devs.

It simply looks amazing, runs so smooth and fast + give a whole new feel and look to my phone.

*And now I absolutely love the funky blue unread count widgets on my Gmail, messaging and phone icons.

I actively dislike the visual appearance of ICS, seems like a huge regression but maybe that's just me. Themes also don't seem to help much.

Can someone possibly recommend a MIUI Rom, I've looked at a couple: ASNET, cMIUI, RGUI, Monsta CM9MIUI and WIUI amongst others but it's hard to choose? I don't have the time to try each one, but want something with the least problems obviously.

I'm using the one from miuiandroid.com
 
I'm dual-booting that at the moment and while I haven't had much experience with it, the first thing I noticed is that all the fonts are really small - especially in tablet mode. While that may just need a DPI change I'm using it as-is. (Made for young eyes, me thinks...)
Otherwise it's a niceish change from the usual ICS.

thx for the heads up ;) but i think ive calmed down a bit after the brick issues...
only gonna flash again when a new wanamlite version comes along or a ZA version of 4.0.4, which mite b a very very long time...

and good news on ur efs problem. ive backed up my efs folder/rar/tar/zip/.... everywhere i can think of ...

Ive tried Paranoid Android but find that to really enjoy it you most probably gonna need a screen bigger than the SG2.Lasted a week with that rom before it irritated me that everything was so small.And to make everything bigger would just be missing the point.

Like mercurial i also used the Miui rom from http://miuiandroid.com/community/ Top notch.Its my second favourite rom after
the fantastic Resurrection Remix,latest version being v2.6. Resurrection Remix is a 5 star/10/10.
 
Are there any specific modems you guys found useful, or that works better battery wise? I'm currently on Neatrom based on UHLPS
 
Warning to those running CM9 - you might want to wait before flashing the nightly dated 16 July. I flashed, and lost GApps plus 50 or so others. If you do want to try it, make sure to make a nandroid backup first.
 
I see the download link doesn't work anymore. Getting the 15th's rom now.

I would just like to inform you guys that wanam's latest ROM has exceeded my expectations. Battery life is phenomenal, no issues, everything fast and smooth.
I would recommend it.
