Anyone done the trade in offer for the S23 FE via contract with MTN/Telkom/Vodacom?

Not sure if the service provider checks the trade in phone in their store or if it needs to be registered on the samsung website for pickup and assessment.

I see the Samsung official trade-in site finally put up the info this morning - it looks like you should be able to take out your contract normally, and then register on the Samsung website. This is for Telkom btw, not sure how MTN or Vodacom conduct theirs but I think you'll be able to do the same

Ahhh ok I see it. Take the contract with Telkom and do the trade in on the Samsung website. Not a bad deal by Samsung to get people switching to their devices

Im also considering replacing my 4year old P30 Pro with a S23.
The P30 has been absolutely perfect up to now. Do you recon it's worth it in your opinion?

Having had the S23 ultra now for 2 months, honestly the p30 pro is still actually pretty decent. Though the camera on the Samsung is better now, not that the p30 pro was a slouch.
Screen is amazing, sound is so much better, I can't compare to the normal S23 though

Updated yesterday. It fixed my blank spaces issue too.

The ultra screen scratches way to easily been super careful for 2 months and there are micro scratches plus a weird one that seems like an indent. The p30 pro could be screen protector less without issues.

I'm in the glass game. Toughened glass scratches a lot easier than normal float glass.

That's what's happening on phones. Our Ultra's have Victus or something glass. The stronger they make the screens, the more susceptible to micro scratches. Terrible trade off.
