Samsung Galaxy S23

Are you guys settling the difference in cash or is it on contract? So if the phone is R21k and you getting R10k credit what's your monthly phone payment on the contract?

I called incredible to enquired if they can do the trade in in store, Thabiso had no idea what I was talking about and promised to call me back after tryinf to find out.

It's been 5 hours, not holding my breath.

Yeah, I have one a couple of towns over, will see how it goes on my next off days.
I actually went in to the Incredible store this afternoon and they wont do the trade in promotion in store, only through the Online pre order process, in which case you cant use the voucher as part of your purchase.

I'm getting mine from Telkom on contract, and they don't seem too clued about the trade-in aspect

Can you just go to the Samsung store regardless of who you got the phone from?

If you don't trade in at the point of sale you do the trade in via regener8. You log the return on the trade in link and then they send a courier to collect. It takes them a couple of days (sometimes weeks) to do the inspection and then they pay the funds to your bank account.

They don't care where you got the phone from as long as it's not blacklisted. They only want the phone, don't want the box or any accessories

Thanks. Was thinking I pick up the new phone from Telkom and then go into Samsung store straight after and get the trade in done the same time. But if I can't then I will use the link

Thanks, but meant whether I can go into the samsung store and do the trade in even if I got the S23 from Telkom.

Also, cool that I don't have to give the accessories back on my trade-in phone!

How necessary is a protector with the fancy new gorilla glass these things come with?
I would not take the chance.
