I've been using it for 3 days now. If I go to battery in settings, its the smoothest drain curves I've seen yet. Awesome battery life (especially standby) and soooooo smooth. Only change irritating me is the "open with" instead of just clicking the app and having a small check box to chose whether to always use, they have two buttons and I always have to click "just this once" instead of clicking the app without checking the box. Its was just simpler in 4.0.4

I agree, funny, I can see why they did this since it's supposed to be simpler (or at least, looks better) but for some reason I also can't get used to it.
 
it's very annoying, it refuses to let me choose Tapatalk as default for forum links, no matter what I choose, it always asks me which I want to use when clicking an email notification link.

hehe, no, it does stick with your default choice for everything else, it only keeps asking me when it comes to forum links...tapatalk or chrome...keeps asking. but it did that with the previous (ICS) app picker thing anyway.

No, no... you can... but they have changed the interface or Like the box in which u chose and made it less intuative i guess. Just a bit more irritating.
 
Anyone experienced a JB vanilla rom at all? I'm considering trying one out.

Any suggestions to what's good/recommended?

Stock JB ROM... Always pick either CM10 or AOSP. (CM looks nicer and its more custom. AOSP is android open source project and its as close to default jellybean as it gets)

Anyone else getting the annoying message, "Clear default app settings by going to Settings > Applications manager > All" and must press "OK" to continue every time you choose an app to be your default?

Driving me nuts!
