I see some people say their CSC is set to zero by using this. Will it affect Google Play in any way (regions etc.)?

Not having this problem, but I don't use stock contacts app. I use exdialer/excontacts.

If you go to Contacts and where you see them listed, hold on one of them and you will get a sub menu, click "join contact"

Okay, yeah, it worked fine. Asked me which one I'd like to join it to, offered a suggestion, I chose it and it merged them, gave me a toast to say "contact joined". No problem, stock contacts.

Hmm.... im getting FC when trying to join... wonder what it could be...

Cleared dalvik and cahe no joy. gonna backup with CWM Recovery, first reflash, test un rooted, then reroot and test if still no joy will hard reset... test again.

edit: safe to flash at 20% battery? lol :erm:
