Ordinarily, sure. But I'm not spending thousands and thousands on a phone I know 100% of my friends and family will think is hilariously oversized and silly. The main reason I don't want one would still be that I personally don't like 'phablets' - they're too large for a phone and too small for a tablet. I should have explicitly stated this.
 
I tried out a demo Note (1) when I was deciding between S2 and Note a year ago. For me, the note was just ridiculous in size for a phone. Couldn't fit in my jeans pocket properly and was difficult to handle even with my +size mits. Just impractical IMHO.
 
Me. waiting patiently for delivery of the Note2. My s3 will then rest in the drawer for a very long time.
 
@Wag, I will give you my S2 to put in the drawer then I`ll take the S3
 
Sold my S3 to buy Note 2,had it for 3 hours and hated using it.
Best for me is still the S3,just the perfect size.

I get quite a bit of flack for my phone. But for me it works really well.
I used to think the people with note 1's were crazy. But that highlights the fact that you can't write off a device until you've actually used it.
Obviously playing with it for 5 min after using a smaller phone forever you'll still find it uncomfortable or silly.
The note is not a phone that will suit everyone but it is a really awesome device. People knock it too soon and I include myself in that statement.

Exactly. It took me a week to start appreciating my Note 1 after the S2. I honestly hated my Note 1 for that first week, but having sold the S2 already I was stuck with it.
After that first week I started to love it. Now it is natural for me to follow the Note upgrade path. Nothing beats this baby.
 
Been running the Polish JB since it came out. Flashed to UK now and it seems my problem with my Whatsapp pop-up messages has been resolved. Apparently this also fixes the problem with the phone beeping every now and again whilst it is 100% charged.

RESULT.
 
I'm running the Omega Rom v31 now. Battery usage is awesome. I get around about 1.6% drainage with wifi usage.

I also got the longest battery life so far on my S3. 1day and 18 hours.

That's using wifi hotspot, gps, couple of games and the usual FB, browsing and email.

Nice. I've been using Omega since soon after Jelly Bean first released. Absolutely love it - it's a better version of stock and updating it is incredibly easy. I can't imagine ever changing my firmware.
 
Haven't run darkyrom since my S1 . I've flashed darkyrom V6 and so far it's pretty good. Waiting for a proper jellybean miui:)
