I used JD for a while, my phone switches to wifi automatically when i'm at home, however with online gaming I switch it off, but for some reason JD switches it back on again. I can be completely wrong and it is not JD's doing.:p

And do you really not see the problem here? Phone beeping during the night to let me know that the battery is fully charged. What for? And no easy way to turn it off without rooting or installing apps? The beeping occurs at random times of course, depending on the battery level and what time I plug it in.

Cool story bro.
The communtiy have offered several solutions of which you are not willing to attempt or bring into effect. So that leaves you ranting about your dissatisfaction with Samsung. If you are not willing to try out solutions then complaining about it won't change anything. Several people have confirmed they do not experience the issue you have.
But if you are into flogging dead horses, knock yourself out.

Yeah dude whatever. I really have an issue that this cannot be simply disabled without installing apps that mute the phone at certain times, or leaving it in another room. What if you're the average 45 year old housewife with this phone? What are you going to to, flash another ROM? This issue does seem random, but also widely occurring. Having to root the phone to rename or remove a sound file from a phone that was R7k plus when I got it? Pfft.

Okay. I can only imagine you are frustrated, but I don't think you are going to squeeze a solution out of this thread after all the suggestions. Perhaps XDA would be of more assistance.

I would imagine the average 45 year old housewife sleeping through a battery full notification or just not charge their phones every night before going to bed.

What am I going to do? Well I don't have your issue but if I were to be in your position I would set up a sleep mode profile in tasker (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm&hl=en - there is a trial version on the XDA forums if you wish to try it out) that would only mute my notifications from 23:00-06h00.

If it is a widely random occurring problem I hope a solution soon comes to light.

I used my S3 with the stock firmware it shipped with for three months before flashing Omega, which is almost identical to stock. I got my S3 the month it released, and not in almost a year have I once been woken by any notification or heard of anyone other than you being woken by notifications. This is not a widespread problem. And just because the phone is expensive doesn't mean it has marvellous software. Indeed, a ROM like Cyanogenmod with Nova Launcher Prime blows Samsung stock with TouchWiz out the water.

The solutions provided to you are very easy to execute. A monkey can root a phone. Just follow the instructions provided in any online tutorial and you'll be done in 5 minutes. You'd have to seriously deviate to screw it up.

On that boot screen you can select another language ;) Found that out by chance when I flashed 4.2.1

Yeah I was in a foul mood yesterday :o But my problem was that with such a high-end device a useless 'feature' such as this should be easily disable-able (LOL) from within the menus.

Now I can also say that I was woken up again at 4h30 this morning, so even with the default notification tone on Silent and System Sounds muted, it still beeps :rolleyes:
 
Haha sloot, i feel for you. It's so frustrating when you have a customisable device and the ONE thing you want to change is a whole mission to change.
 
Shouldn't affect warranty, how would they tell you've plugged in a battery extension anyway.

I would recommend you just buy a spare battery and keep it with you. Less bulk, you can charge it in parallel, and you can keep it separately in a laptop bag, in your car, etc. They're also quite cheap now
