Samsung Galaxy S3

Mine's been doing strange stuff lately.
2 weeks ago the battery drained completely and it did not want to charge or start up.
I thought it was sudden-death.
Took the batter out overnight, put it back in and the phone charged again when I switched it on.

And every now and again I lose signal untill I reboot it. At least once a week.

howsit everyone
i need some information please
is anyone on mtn with a galaxy s3 having an issue where the phone loses network connection a lot while in your pocket?
and how many of you guys are experiencing that the data connection turns off in standby and only comes on when the screen comes on?

frustrating

okay, you are running the stock jellybean firmware?
can you check under settings, about for me?
give me the baseband and firmware numbers?

Has anyone had their S3 stop reading their external card with the last three CM nightlies? The card works fine, tested it with a normal card reader.

@Mayurh I'm using the latest CM 10.1 nightly (as of yesterday) Left the phone at home today so can't check other details

@Bryn What are the Xda forums saying? Didn't check after updating last noght

It seems the battery-full beep I was pissing in my pants about, was related to a faulty charger. The charger has since stopped working completely and I bought another one. It showed that a charger was connected, but the battery wasn't charging. With the new charger, I haven't heard this beep again

Mine sudden death'ed on Saturday. Taking it back to Vodacom sometime this week. Not looking forward to their insane waiting times though.

Oopsie...

Mine took a massive tumble yesterday and the paving won this round.

Two cracks in the glass on both sides. No damage to LCD screen itself. And still very much usable.

Have read up a bit about replacing the glass myself. Considering it.

I flashed Temaseks V1 CM10.2 this afternoon and everything working well. Phone appears to be slightly faster but can't tell what battery life is like yet.

There are a couple of known issues but there are workarounds.

Do you have Full wipe when coming from 10.1?

Do you have Full wipe when coming from 10.1?

I didn't, just a normal cache and dalvik wipe.

Still no noticeable problems (I don't use things like PIE control and Halo) but if I do get, I'll do a full wipe.

Installed V2 this morning.
