I haven't flashed through ODIN so much so excuse me if I ask silly questions. Have you tried flashing different firmware versions through ODIN? Perhaps the first one was corrupted or something of that nature during the download?

OOoohh Note 2 and Note 10.1 is very exciting. Congrats man. I am very envious of that combo :D

Oh yeah. Stock, CM10.1 (that was previously working), AOKP (also previously working) and original stock. Nothing writes to the device, and nothing seems to be able to be read from the device...

Flashing Instructions
- Unzip the file
- Open Odin 3.04 (already included in the firmware package)
- Restart phone in download mode (Press and hold Home + Power + Volume down buttons)
- Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
- Add I9300XXUFME7_I9300OXAFME7_I9300XXUFME7_HOME.tar.md5 to PDA
- Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
- Start flash, sit back and wait a few minutes.
- If you encounter any issues with the firmware (Any FC, Bootloop etc)
- Boot into recovery mode (Home+ Power + Volume Up)
- Choose to wipe/factory reset. (THIS WILL ERASE ALL OF YOUR DATA INCLUDING YOUR INTERNAL SD CARD!)
- Then choose reboot and you should be good to go!

Installed it on my S4 and it's mind blowing!

I wish I could combine the features of the stock panorama Android camera app with the HDR features of the Samsung app. That would be awesome! :D
 
This one seems so much smoother than the old one. If you click on the small.pic in the corner when you take one, it glides into.the preview so.nicely, whereas in the old one it had to open the gallery.

So my GS3 is more then a year old. For the most part its working okay.

However these are the following issues i have been experiencing recently.

1) battery takes much longer to charge - when the phone is on the the charger and i use it, i actually notice that the battery level still goes down - i find this strange
2) Lag - i am experiecing more and more lag on the device
3) battery usage is much higher - if i leave the phone on 3G i could kill the battery in easy a day - never used to be like this, especially on the original firmware (can't remember the version, was the stock version)

Currently running stock 4.1.2

Anybody else having issues as above or other issues?
 
Im pretty sure a new battery will do the trick. Im thinking of getting one myself, but im hoping for a new fone...maybe a xperia z ultra :P :P
 
What about the lag issue?

Two clear examples of some serious lag is whatsapp and the stock dialer. I have heard the dialer has issues. Anybody else experiencing lag on whatsapp or other apps?

Yup, the dialler is pretty horrible, and WhatsApp takes a second or two to open every now and then.

I had that. Battery died, phone wouldn't charge. Connected the phone to the laptop, started charging. Back on charger, continued charging. :confused:
