Thanks guys, it is just a bit frustrating I find I have to swipe a few times before it will answer. I'll also give the auto answer a shot.
Strange. I don't like the answering system on the S3, but it's never given me problems.

A little bit of photoshop goes a long way.
ps. im a photoshop noob and all i did was de-noise and alter the levels a bit and add some vibrance. also the source pic was quite low res so with full res photos you should get a good end result

Ask one of the photoshop fundies to give you a generic de-noising script for photoshop that you can use in batch operations and then just adjust levels to make certain colours "pop". I'm (pretty) sure it is possible

I installed Paranoid Android JB this weekend (updated to the latest version this morning) and I love the ability to truly customize the Rom to my preferences. One has to wonder why not more devs are giving users the ability to change the dpi and UI of installed apps individually.
It makes much more sense. Some people, like myself like to run certain apps in tablet mode but we don't want the whole tablet UI on our devices. Paranoid Android addresses this, and works flawlessly.
This Rom is definitely a keeper.

On my notification bar I have this round logo with a droplet inside. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Below is a screen shot of it.

I've checked through all the apps and none have anything resembling that logo or settings that display something in the notification bar.
This may be overkill but why not backup your apps and their state with Titanium and remove them one by one until the icon vanishes?

I think there are apps to kill start up applications, this might be able to tell you what exactly is on the notification bar.
If it was an ad I'd try airpush detector.
You can also reboot and look at the log. Might be able to find done reference to which apps are introducing a notification. Program alogcat. I have no idea how to read the log though.

I found the culprit. It is the Powerful Control Widget.
When you set it up so that you have the widget inside your notification screen(when pulling the bar down) it shows that stupid little icon. Fixed now.

I've downloaded the update on my phone but it wouldn't update. It stops at 30% then it says I must do the update via Kies. I'm not really worried about it, just curios to know why it does that.
Any ideas?
