Just finished flashing....

Currently - "Android is upgrading... optimising 234 of 276 apps"

Should be soon now. Here's hoping I never broke anything :) Thanks guys
 
Phone up and running fine! As you all expected :) but I still feared some issues with doing this.

I will obviously pick up the new bits as I go along but immediately loving the new folder icons. They look real neat now! I was asked about opting in for Google Now but data usage concerns me a little. I don't want to find myself using far more data while Now tries to work out my movements. Anyone have any comments on this? A valid concern or does it not use any more data.

PS Forgive my excitement, I'm sure you have all been here before but this is my first :)
 
Ola, I loaded the Polska version and i'm getting the playstore issue. Cant get any new apps. Says unable to varify account. I browsed back quite a few pages here and cant seem to see a solution. Did anyone have the issue and resolve it?

Back up anyway just to be safe. Reports of guys flashing without a wipe have been good though. No loss of anything or reinstall of anything.

Your media should be hundreds. I have never lost anything. That said, a mate of mine list all his music and had to copy it back on. His photos were gone though and that was a big bummer. So copy your stuff to PC just in case it happens to you.

DoubleTwist is a brilliant app for syncing all media to and from your PC. I also use iTunes but mainly for music.

Did you wipe or not?
Also try clearing the play store cache (if you did not wipe).

Anyone else on the Polish JB having this issue?

Don't think I'll be risking it if nobody has a definite solution.

I had this issue but it was my own stupidity... when i flashed the XEO Polish rom with Odin i put it in the "phone" tab instead of "PDA" and it flashed over my existing JB but only flashed the phone, thus automatically changing the csc for some reason. best is to backup, reinstall ICS ZAR stock and change the csc bak to XFA or XFV or w/e u were using and then restore backup and flash Polish JB.

Same here on the burn in, haven't seen anything.

I haven't had any stability issues since I flashed it.

I had a minor issue with android.media process hogging the battery but after I manually stopped it it went away.

Have yet to restart my phone to see if it happens again. This happened after the JB update, but besides that I've had no issues.

Unable to "paste" from clipboard. I flashed over leaked JB without any wiping at all. Haven't bothered yet with doing a full wipe, I'm waiting for the next official release before doing all that, should be within the week. Or, strongly considering the new SuperNexus build 3 released last night.

I think i'm gonna try this. I think the issue was with my flashing, i might have botched a step or two. I have titanium so shouldnt be too much of a mission to restore.

I'm running it, no issues to report.

The only issue I have is my massively INCREASED battery life. Finding it difficult to run the battery down in a day with normal usage. :D
