Where is this special? It seems nice... I want the Note 3 but can't find a decent contract other than TM

For new Contracts only: PNP HYPER. The advert say's it includes the Gear, i was excited. No gear included though, it was a misprint
. Its R399 pm though for the Note 3 on a Smart S from vodacom. What im going to do though, migrate my contract to a topup 200s. Change 1gig for R149 and keep the remainder for calling. 1gig data, R50 calling and a Note 3 valued at R10k for R399pm 
Why not keep your Note 3? Defos an improvement and just buy the Gear 2 cash? Im looking into this. Waiting for orange or zastro to pull up specials. I saw the Gear for about R3k brand new on special, so hoping the Gear 2 is cheaper (stated by samsung) so hoping that there are introductory prices around there. Gear 2 + Note 3>> S5 with Gear 2 and gear fit
imhoMy GF pointed out the other day that me holding a Note 3 looks much the she a her holding an S3. Size is all relative.
They mentioned the Gear working with multiple devices, surely the Note 3 will be one of them.

fair enough. But what do I do with my upgrades. By middle April I will have 2 pending. I have 4 contracts in all, two last year (S4 and Note 3), so this year I though S5 and Note 4

Apologies as we are heading slightly off topic but...
I see MTN is offering the Note 3 for R449 on the MTN myChoice100. You get 100 anytime minutes, 100MB data and 100 SMS (useless as who still uses SMS?).
This compares to the Vodacom Smart S with 75 minutes, 200MB data and 200 SMS.
Less minutes with VC. The extra 100MB of data with MTN will cost you R30. Personally don't think the Vodacom offer would be enough for me to port.

Unfortunately those still use the crappy TRILUMINOS display that's on the Z and Z1. I know everything looks washed-out compared to the Note 3, but that display was just plain bad on such an otherwise great phone.

The display on the Z and Z1 is terrible indeed. Apparently the Z2 is slightly better but still has poor viewing angles.
