I am really not dead sure but when I google for G900H 32GB quad core I get many many results and each page says it it a G900H 32GB with Quad core CPU.

Obviously the Octacores also pop in but it seems that there are quad and octa core versions of the G900H

AFAIK the 32Gb is the Octo Core which is not LTE, the 16GB is the quad core which is LTE.

AFAIK FNB sells the Octo core to go with their Cell C partnership

Can you confirm that you have the G900H as per the Imei sticker or product box? I think you can clear up some confusion!

Which cases are you using? I hate the flip shell things and I want something that does not add too much bulk either.

At the moment I am using the Samsung Protective Hard Case (http://www.sammobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/protective-hard-case-grey1.jpg) which I actually find really ugly (it was a "I have to get something now" buy).

I am loving the battery life on my phone, I could probably get two days of use out of it if I tried.

In my experience the quad variants are smoother and quicker (not S5, but S4 and Notes)

My guess is that the difference in speed is negligible. The Snapdragon (quad core) version has way better support from the custom rom community (Cyanogenmod for instance), so if I had the choice, I would take the quad core version. I'm currently "stuck" with a Exynos Octa Core S4 without Cyanogenmod as they can't sort out the issues.
