Samsung Galaxy S6

It seems my next option is to do a reset. Battery lost 24% in 6hrs last night.
That's very high Idle drain you have there. I have some nights where I only lose 1%, if you look at the screens hots from my previous post you can see the almost flat line when I'm sleeping.

Let us know how it goes after a factory reset.

Another tip is to not restore any apps or app data or transfer settings from another device when going through the startup wizard.

This. I will then recommend you don't install any unnecessary apps at first, maybe just like a whatsapp ... not facebook. Then see what the drain is like with a nearly clean phone.

Anyone else still waiting for Samsung Pay to hit South Africa?
It's gonna be awkward payments via mobile for the first few months after release. :D

No one will ever get that fridge, I have used the app daily since May and I only have a total of 196236 points earned.

Just link to me please, I WILL get that fridge and then I will stock it with onhebbelike alkoholiese verversings and invite everyone over!

That's a promise

I had the 5.1.1 battery drain issue for a few days - but it seems to have sorted itself out.

It really sucks that Samsung had to fiddle so much with the LED notifications - Ligthflow doesn't work the way it used to now. :(

I have "Do not disturb" automatically enabled between 10pm & 6am but the LED still lights up for some reason. Any way around this? I do not have any 3rd party LED apps installed.

I linked to you to aid in your bid to get your fridge and in the hope that free beer comes from this :D

I did a factory reset and it seemed to sort out the battery drain. I am currently standing at 30 hrs with 18% left. Yesterday did 32 hrs with 12% left.

I didn't think I would enjoy this phone as much coming from the Note 3, but I really enjoy the smaller design, build quality, camera and overall clean up of the OS. I do miss the S-Pen functionality. Only gripe was battery life, but that's been sorted.

Now I must just get a case for this phone, but not something that will hide the overall design.
