I will never go back to lg.. After sales service stinks. They should have centres like samsung

The s7 edge is the best device i have ever owned..... But i have always wanted the newest.

I look forward to S8 though, it and the Sony Xperia XZ Premium look to be the 2017 beasts.

LG G6 is a 2016 phone in 2017.

I am liking the Huawei P10 Plus and Mate 9.

But in the grand scheme of things, the S7 Edge is up there with the latest, I see no point in upgrading at all.

I'll get a Note 9 late next year.

Agreed. Exactly my thoughts. I love the S7E but miss the stylus.

I must say, the S7 Edge has really had me missing the stylus a lot, so many times where e.g. copying a line of text, numbers or taking a screenshot of a section of a page is harder without the stylus.

Something else that I miss is an IR Blaster, a feature I knew I would miss when leaving the Note 4, but I did not realise I'd miss it this much.

I'll definitely be getting the Note8 if there's no hiccups. My main contract expires in January 2018, not sure if I'll be able to wait until then though...

Personally I'll only flash SA firmware if I'm a fan of a branded phone loaded with rubbish apps.

I doubt it. The BTU is probably the most frequently updated version.

Depend on which local network your phone is on, xfc would be cell c, xfv vodascum, xfe and xfa are unbranded I think

XFV is Vodacom
XFE i think is MTN
XFA is unbranded (if I'm right about XFE, otherwise other way around)

Anyone know where I can repair S7 edge screen for a reasonable price in CPT? Missed my ADH by 3 days (Damage occurred long before but I stupidly let Samsung rep at Vodacom convince me to come in at a later date. Long story short they quoted approx 5k to repair)

Eish. Mine and my boss I called adh and made sure to get reference numbers.

Ouch. The screen cost is why I have insurance. I have more chance of dropping it than someone snatching it.
Your best bet is ordering the digitizer & LCD from eBay and doing it yourself with YouTube tutorials.
