@Gamer how is the s7 still running. Wanting to get my mom one the edge variant. Still a worthy devuce?

I don't use one any more, my wife uses my old S7E (only reason I keep an eye on f/w releases) and it's still going strong. I think it's still a very solid performer.

I'm I a similar position. I've got an s7 flat and I'm due for an upgrade but the phones on contracts less than R500/ month are similar or worse than what I currently have. Basically the only significant improvements cell phones have had in the last 2 years is better camera. Everything else is meh.

yup, about the same for me, I charge my phone at least 2 times in a day then through the night...

Old battery is old.

Can one see the phone has been opened up?

I find R799 quite reasonable, just worried about the phone splitting or giving issues afterwards.

Did you ever get this done? Need to still replace mine.

Have you got a price from Samsung? Sometimes they have crazy repair specials. Last year replacement battery for S7E was under a grand. S7 even cheaper obviously.

Upgraded and sold the phone on scamtree.
