Just popped into a Cell C store to see their prices, so far the stores are only offering the Pinnacle contracts.

So Pinnacle 1, Samsung S7 Edge is going for R1124.

So in other words you paying R499 for the contract and R625 for the handset.

I am surprised that Cell C does nothing to drop the price of the phone as Vodacom is giving the phone at R500.

Anything to make an extra R3000 from your customers.

Do they still give Dropbox space with Samsung phones or is that kind of offering long gone?

Dropbox dropped me years ago. I refuse to use them again. I am now paying $2 every month for up to 100Gb Google storage.

dropbox : when you get a new Samsung phone it does not extend period :(
Yep, happened when I upgraded from my S3 to my S5. Told them they suck to their faces.

Woohoo, another one agrees. Onedrive should be dragged into the street and be shot. Their synchronizing absolutely sucks!

With Drive, you can save the same file several times within a minute, the agent will sync the data regardless. Onedrive throws a hissy fit and refuses to sync again unless you manually select the version of the file you want to keep.

Pretty!

Two questions the reviews I've seen don't seem to clarify: can you keep the screen always on, so it functions as a watch?; and can you use the fitness tracking functions when not paired with a phone, like a jawbone or Fitbit or any other fitness tracker?

As in have it always on but on some kind of low power mode that doesn't chow battery?

My G Watch R, is "always on"... the screen goes into a lower power mode, but all the functions remain.

With my comment I was referring to the "health apps" that you can use "offline" without the phone... it will then upload to the app once connected to your phone again. So you don't need your phone when going for a run or ride.

I'll test next week and do a review, as always :)
