Samsung Galaxy S7

We've never had Snapdragon, or at least, I've never seen it this side. We always get Exynos and it's almost always performed better.

huh? no... depends on who you are talking about... vodacom always get the F-models... that's the snapdragon... MTN and Cell C and FNB normally had the 'others'

 Honestly have never heard of us getting the Snapdragon versions. Anyway, I want the Exynos. Faster multi-core performance. Plus that GPU + Vulkan = awesomeness.

Vodacom always get Snapdragon since the Galaxy S4. My Vodacom Note 4 is Snapdragon.

Snapdragon has since the 800 always had better GPU.

You seem to forget that Samsung helped Qualcomm develop and fabricate the latest Snapdragon820. This time around it seems even the Snapdragon's CPU is just as good as Exynos, while the 820's GPU is much more powerful.

My S4 has Exynos. Also Vodacom. Very weird.

The benchmarks I checked seemed to indicate that the Exynos is better at multitasking.

Did you get yours at launch? Voda's initial stock was i9500 (Exynos) then they discontinued that and went with i9505 (LTE Snapdragon) and have done so ever since. The S4, Note 3, S5, Note4 all Snapdragon.

Aah, that must've been it. I got it very early.

PS: Vodacom pre-order page is up as well as Telkom's.

Exynos is notoriously difficult to root and custom rom. That's why a lot of people do not like that version.
