I guess it's that curved screen thing again? So do you suggest a flip cover and no screen protector?

Got a case from Tech21. Does the job. I decided to give the screen protector a skip after the one I bought (for £21) cracked on the rounded screen edges after a day. Not having it has made no difference to be honest.

well the in-box cover is never going to protect your screen from a fall. its purpose is to avoid scratches, that's it.

I don't see the video call option on my s8... It's a Vodacom one with Vodacom firmware but a Telkom sim. If I make a video call to the S8 from my S5 with a Vodacom simcard in it works fine but there isn't a option to initiate a video call on my s8.

Yep, Sammy is pissing about with updates, even the security patch is still 1 November 2017 on mine.
