S7 was, is, awesome. If you really wanted to push it with battery saving stuff (which i would not do), michelle (now an s8 owner) got up to 10hours screen on time iirc

Yeh okay I suppose for some that is unacceptable, but for me, it was okay, as I just needed to get through a working day, and charge when I got home. I get similar results on the Note 4, so it seems Samsung must have done something right on the S8 range.

The note 4 was also very good

I never bought it, I'm getting the S8 next week or whenever delivery is but I think battery case only weight 85g so I don't think it would be too bad.

That is about right.

Heavy usage on S7 Edge I can get 17h with 6h SOT

My mother is using my old Note 4 with her S7 Edge is in for repair, she is loving it.

I am going to keep that beast around for a lot by time. A true workhorse that one.
 
Those that got it on Voda, which wireless charger came in the accessory pack? The new convertible 1 or the old stand up 1?

These feckers at MTN are taking so long to give me my damn phone, got the sms saying that the application has been conditionally approved and that i should wait for the dealer to contact me. Nothing yet..

Ah so no loss in getting the fast charge power bank at MTN then as i already have that wireless charger

How's that IPA going down? :p

The 1 they previewed is new in design I.e that it folds up and down but that's about it.

I thought that 1 was included in the Voda deal
 
That's BS, that's the old S7 wireless charger. Can anyone else confirm which wireless charger they received?
 
So Fanie, when are we going to get your major review of the phone? Hasn't it been long enough now that you won't seem too desperate by doing that? :P
 
So as per usual Vodacom screwed us.

The Telkom one is clearly advertised as including the new convertible wireless charger with USB Type-C.
