Ok, so I bought the Gear S3 based off all the hype. Guess what? It's heart rate monitor doesn't work on tattooed arms. I have two full sleeves so I can even find an alternate place for it.
Why on earth would Samsung use green light reflective technology to measure heart rate and in turn use the same technology to determine whether the watch is indeed being warn? Polar and other fitness products use actual pulse rate as far as I know.
Do any of you guys know more about this?
PS: Perhaps a software fix can still make the watch work but I doubt the heart rate measurements will be accurate in any case.
