Samsung i900 Omnia

it does come with 8GB on board and 8GB MicroSD (the Garmin app is loaded on the SD card)
I guess now you will have 24GB! Whoop!
But man...R275pm...not fair! nice deal though - spread the word!

Perhaps the iTalk deal does not have the 8Gb SD, explaining a small portion of the cheaper cost? Not really R40-odd per month though...

Yeah, also, do they maybe force itemised billing on u too, on top of the R274.50 per month?

OK OK didn't know the extra 8 GIG was included. :p

They said the R274.50 was all inclusive. Itemized billing included!

If by Friday MTN Rosebank still do not deliver my phone, I will asked them to cancel my application and get it through iTalk.

And to top it off, the offer directly from MTN is actually R327 * 24 months with CLI (R8) which might be mandatory. :(

Just ordered mine through iTalk for R274.50 / month including R200 airtime.

Deliver 3 to 4 days :D
When does the upgrade of the contract kick in, cause if only when u get the phone, I will be in the next frikkin billing cycle again being charged yet again for MyCall 100...

Are iTalk any good, cause according to dlk001, iTALK Cellular Service Sucks.

Their website definitely needs some work I noticed.

Im pretty happy with them, but then again some people won't be because no matter where you go, someone always gets the short end of the stick.

From my experience:
1. Their prices are really good.
2. Never waited more than 5minutes when calling customer care.
3. Delivery is strict (by strict meaning, if you are not at home to receive the phone, you will not get it because they don't allow 3rd party collections on your behalf )

Statements can sometimes be a mess, but thats just a small bump in the road.

Thanks acidrain for the feedback. I gather though that if one has a problem, one has to call their 0861 number which is obviously not a free call.

And to check free/included minutes or airtime, it is also chargeable by calling 258, as per
http://www.italk.co.za/page.aspx?Id=43

I'm just wondering what other catches there might be, and if all that will go away when MTN completes the buy-out?

I've been on the phones with MTN's retentions department who told me yesterday that the phones were meant to arrive yesterday. So hopefully our wait is over.

It annoys me though, because a guy at work got one from Morningside service centre on Monday by going in there and signing a contract. I did mine last Tuesday and still nothing.

But hey, what's 1 more week, at most (apparently)?

Got this from an email:
Pkg Value Subs ITB Cli Promo Total
M03 Omnia R 200.00 R 21.50 R 8.00 R 45.00 R 274.50

From italk MTN Corporate KZN valid until 31st Oct.

BTW guys, the iTalk offer requires a port to iTalk!!! This is def making me think 3 times about taking up their offer.

A port is really painless..... I just did one from Vodacom through Nashua Mobile to MTN direct. Went to bed with a Vodacom sim in, woke up and switched to the MTN sim. No hassle at all....
