Personally I can't wait for my Omnia to be delivered this week.

And when someone tells me that the iPhone is better... I won't say a word because I don't need to constantly validate my shiny new toy.
Either that or I'll ask them to let me record a video of them saying that :)



So, who's got theirs? Where can I get a car charger and windscreen holder so I can use it as a GPS and think even less on my drive to my desk every morning?
 
As far as I know - the windscreen holder comes in the box with the Omnia... Not sure about car charger, but it would make sense if they did...
 
Comes with car charger and windscreen dock in box.
You might also wanna get a screen protector when you pick up the phone, they sell them here and there...else just cut a universal one, the shape isn't too challenging. Dont wanna get the shiny screen all scratched...
 
Maestro, trust me, you won't go wrong. I luv my Omnia. It's a brilliant phone and there is very little anyone can tell me to convince me it's not overall a seriously good piece of equipment.

I got mine and it comes standard with the car charger and windscreen holder :)

What's the best rate anyone's seen the Omnia on an MTN package? (New contract - not upgrade)

MTN shop advertising the Anytime 200 with R200 airtime PM for R119 * 24. I got this one, still waiting for my phone after a week, seems like great demand.
 
Omnia and Voice Tags

A great phone yes; BUT a bad mistake from Samsung not to include Voice Tags (Voice speed dialing). Does anyone now if there is any third party software that will work on the Omnia which I can use, I cannot use the phone without it (just forget about MS Voice Command - it doesn't work on Omnia). I sold my HTC Touch Diamond to switch to the Omnia - just to discover no Voice Tags, although most previews do not mentioned it.

Please help
 
Anyone know what it would cost to take the Omnia on an MTN AnyTime 350 package, but instead of paying an increased monthly charge pay a handset subsidy at the beginning and continue paying the R350 p/m + bundle costs ?
 
Just ordered mine through iTalk for R274.50 / month including R200 airtime.

Deliver 3 to 4 days :D

Where did you find that i cant see that offer on the italk website i can only find it for like R500.00

I only just heard about it this morning from a collegue and phoned straight away.

I was on the waiting list for the R449 deal at an MTN Shop :D

Also just ordered a 8GIG MicroSD card for it to :p
