i prefer the samsung Innov8 over the omnia, simply because i like symbian more than windows mobile, its more stable and got more applications to download from the net...
 
I think Omnia's Windows Mobile 6.1 is more attractive than Iphone's OS X.

More apps to install on Omnia with enough storage space and much better hardware spec.

And for pricing, I expect Omnia to be cheaper than Iphone.
 
mmmm .... how much is the phone on an anytime 350 package ... the MTN packages look really good ... being per second and all that ....

I wish we can get this concept of "free" out of our system. Nothing, repeat- nothing - in life is free. You pay for so-called "free" phones with higher monthly payments, however these come about. Sometimes it is an add-on direct charge, sometimes it is through higher call-rates.

I cancled my vodacom contract and took this one!
:-)

Now i am waiting for VC to release my number to MTN.

**** im due for an upgrade from 12 Sep 08 but my contract only expires 11 Dec 08!!! this is vodacom ... what to do what to do ....
 
Eh, R3,000+ pay in on my current contract..... :(

But, if I wait a bit, I could probably afford it! :)

Did you cancel your contract in the 24th month? I am currently in my 21st month of my contract with Vodacom, totally fed up, want to get one of the Omnia deals from MTN - any idea what penalty fees are for early retirement from a vodacom contract?

I actually canceled it on my 30th month...

So I made up my mind and decided I will go with the Samsung Omnia. Only issue is I refuse to pay in on top of my contract price as I already pay R420pm for subscription, and my bill is always in excess of R1k - on Vodacom. However it appears I might have to pay in for this phone by the looks of things, even though I havent received an actual quote yet from Vodacom, nor is this phone on their v4me site yet. My upgrade is overdue and the alternatives don't come close to the Omnia. The closest alternative listed on the v4me site is the HTC Touch :(
