Why would they Finally give us call recording Only to take it away?

silly me - i just had a look at call settings and this was staring me in the face so yep this is what i saw when i said call recordings were available in the SA update

My Galaxy S24U is on OneUi 8 and still has no call recording. I changed it from UAE CSC to the South African CSC (XFA). Does anyone know why? I'd prefer not to switch over to the India CSC. Also my caller ID option is greyed out, is that normal for SA?

Thanks for sharing. My S24U is from the UAE region (XSG) so I changed it to XFA on One UI 7.0 and 8.0 but Record Calls never appeared on both versions. Only after changing it to India (INS) did it finally appear. I'm lost because if it works with India then why does it not work with SA given that SA has this feature? Very strange

no idea why you are experiencing these issues - i did not change my CSC
