I see the 55" is now back to it's normal price of R22000.

Can't wait for mine to be delivered. Hopefully will have it by Thursday.

This 55" is now one of my considerations ( hoping for a pricedrop this month) , primarily for QLED and Freesync.

One problem I am having currently is that the Plex app refuses to see the media on my Plex server. I can access an watch using the built in browser and sucessfully athenticate the app but for the life of me it refuses to connect to the server.

How are you Q70T owners finding your new TV?

Any issues?

Amazing considering the R12999 price-tag. Just did the 1403 update on my end but not too sure whether I like the update or not. Gotta reset the picture settings when I get some time and see. However, I do believe that the 1403 update does activate the 4k120 native resolution option for various inputs such as the Xbox Series X etc AMD GPU's etc. The blacks are really awesome as well (tested using the film 'Gravity'). No blooming at all

Does anyone with the 1403 update mind sharing their image settings? The judder reduction and blur reduction settings seem to process differently depending on input source resolution (1080p/1440p/4k) and then again different once again with HDR content. I can't decide where to leave them at lol

I understand there will be no blooming as it doesn't have local dimming zones...

I use film maker mode and disable all those settings.

Never had a problem with blur on sports.

Take the Quantum TV reviews with a pinch of salt. Pretty much all his reviews are negative.

Anyone use subtitles? Does the overall screen brightness change when subtitles appear?

I think this has a lot to do with the DStv app on the QLED TVs. When I watch sport on DStv Now on my Mibox or Litbox, I have no lag or blur. It looks like ordinary TV, however, picture quality on the native app on the TV iself produces a much better picture quality than on the Mibox, but it judders terribly without smooth motion being enabled. Im assuming its the upscaling on the native TV app that makes it appear better, but i find myself watching it on my Mibox rather as I will sacrifice a bit of quality for no judder.

When I watch any sports content on Youtube, for example F1 or football in 4k etc, there is no judder whatsoever. Same applies for Netflix... I honestly think it has alot to do with the apps themselves.

I am keen to see what the new DStv streama box is going to look like on the TV once its launched as it is 4k broadcast according to reports I've read.

Anyone here see any motion blur when watching sports using an actual DStv HD decoder and not the app?
