That may be true, but terrorism is not the way to resolve this. It only weakens the standpoint of those who object rationally...
(hope you don't mean the "cameras stolen of gantry" pic, those gantries are not active yet since construction of those section of road has not finished)
How do you know it was a deadly powder and not just maizemeal?
Well I'm not condoning one way or another, but I can understand the measures that people take when they become desperate. When your peaceful protests consistently fall on deaf ears, and the government that is meant to work for you goes ahead and does its own thing anyway, there is only so much one can stomach...

Honestly don't think the actual powder matters, it the person gets traced they could probably get charges under a public disorder offence or assault not to mention that SANRAL may be able to launch a civil case against them for disrupting serivices). Bit stupid to turn a perfectly effective social protest into a violent one, giving the opposition some moral superiority.
Out of interest how difficult is it to produce\buy anthrax in S.A? Thinking some of the varsity/private labs might be able to do it; but given the small potential sources, jumping to that conclusion was a bit stupid of SANRAL, most likely baby powder and an overreaction.
Who cares?
If you condone sending "mysterious white powders" to everyone you disagree with... you become more than a forum troll...
You become a TERRORIST.
Tell that to the judge when he sends you to jail as a joke?
don't you be calling me a terrorist because i support the person who sent some baby bum powder to some idiot who didn't think this e-toll through before implementing it. they knew what the consequences would be, the people were tired of being sheep and started taking action. it's probably not even anthrax or some lethal substance.
you should also be careful using a term such as "terrorist" in name calling on the internet. people can take it personally and take offence and the next thing you know you're in court facing charges. that is a serious accusation you just made.
I see they got House's letters...
@fingo
Dude/tte, get a life, see the comic in all this!

We all know how SAPO mishandles postage - for all you know, the letter itself originally contained something valuable and had notices such as "do not drop" on it. Almost similar to the Luthuli house "terrorism" and the Rosebank issue - sounds more like seeking attention to me.
Disgraceful however if it is a real threat (and we can all agree, there are quite a few nutjobs in this country)
Deep breaths, celine. Get that brown paper bag and breathe...
