Can someone clarify the "download the Windows 10 32bit iso" - which must be a standalone file of about 3 gig

All the MS download links lead to a "media creation tool" for dvd and flash drives - how do I get the ISO file - or am I brain dead here ;-)

I was referring to torrents but that might be unsafe to someone new. Just copy all the files from the flash drive or just use the flash drive with an OTG cable.

Use the media creation tool which basically downloads the file into an ISO when you select "Install on another machine"

Called them but it was too late as they had already handed it to the courier. They stuffed up the SKU number at the branch that dispatched mine so I have to take it to a branch close to me and get it swapped out - totally defeating the purpose of ordering online.

Stuff like that happens, best you find a store that's got stock and reserve a unit, get the guys name... Bought a Packard Bell lappy at Game two weeks ago, stickers all over stating you can upgrade to Win 10. At that stage I already upgraded 5 laptops but just couldn't get this going, it will freeze every time after the first reboot. Took it back two days later and then they wanted me to a wait a week so they can send it back to be checked out. Fortunately I also noticed that this piece of rubbish doesn't have a option in the BIOS to boot from an USB drive, [believe-it-or-not]. Ended up making a bootable DVD with Win 10 and that will freeze on boot-up. Took it to the shop, showed them on a different brand demo that it'll boot, showed them how it freezes on the PB, got another one from the warehouse, same thing - so got a Dell instead. Wasted a few hours, hopes it make you feel better :D
 
Anyone having a problem with internal storage reducing for no reason. I went from having 2gb free to 348mb and I've only installed chrome and CPU-z. I've switched off automatic updates, completed a disk clean up and nothing.

Paging file? Did you install any Store apps? 2gb free is very low with hardly anything installed.
 
No apps off the store and did a bit of googling and it doesn't seem to be a paging filing issue.

I've switched off all updates plus 99% of the time I've got no Internet connection so don't think so. But I will install that programme to see what's happening

How did you switch off updates in Windows 10?

Try the Storage option in Settings, click on C: and it will give you a breakdown of disk space usage.
 
I think I should just upgrade maybe the problem will go away
But here's a breakdown of the c drive anyway

BTW, I just noticed the free 60 minutes Skype calls that comes with the Office 365 sub, activated and called a landline, basically the same as a normal wired call. Just this alone pays for the pad, as most of you probably know, you can call to several countries including mobile in some like the USA.
