Yes they'll pay you the rest after the dispute is resolved.
Awesome thank you so much

So i received a mail from SARS requesting my logbook (which i have) and then curiously, my purchase contract of my vehicle that i used (which i also have) - submitted the docs via e-filing.... anyone else have this query??
Ok, I went and see a tax practioner. He looked and said I did the right thing the 1st time. They want them to put in the max amount.
Old man usually got R2000.00 back, now got R20 000.00 back. I think I leave it as is, and see what happens. I ignore the money in my bank account for the time being, wife could hold on to her smile a while longer.
If this holds, who knows maybe somebody challenged their method of medical aid calculations with all last years problems, and its a secret way of correction of last few years, of which nobody speaks, it just happens.
However, its an old "Too Good To Be True" rule overstepped.

I had to submit the same, logbook and purchase agreement. Submitted on the 10th of July and still waiting for audit to be finalised... :wtf:
Submitted NOO on 21 July 2017, received the revised assessment today but it seems they calculated that they owe me R4k more than my calcs showed.
I thought back and this is actually the amount they never paid me last year that carried over - so a nice little bonus upon a bonus - score![]()
Paraphrasing myself but since SARS paid me this morning I have another Q.
I think it may be easier to explain it in a timeline format:
1) I completed my SARS return, said they owe me X
2) Selected for verification, they said I owe them X + Y
3) Disputed and uploaded more doccies, they still said I owe them X + Y
4) Submitted NOO, it came back with them saying they now owe me X + Y
5) Refund is in my account, but it is only the original amount of X
Would the balance of Y - X be carried across to next year or am I missing something?
