Mom past 8 years had audits this year not even verification.
Past 4 years I always had to upload documents (iirc verification) this year I'm clean (crosses thumbs)

It's pointless to try and get through to SARS today via the call center. I have had no luck. No services are in operation. Unless it's a mechanism to prevent an influx of calls.

Thanks. when i tried to whitelist, found that the functions have been blocked by administrator. (work PC). anyway will try personal pc and see if it works there or not.
 
SARS seems to be down now. Was fine an hour ago. Now I cant log onto efiling at all.

It's working fine on my side barring no access to the call center.

Hopefully it works. New PC + browser should do the trick.
 
Verification completed. Now waiting on a payment date. What is the turnaround for payments after completion of verification?

Before SARS introduced medical tax credits, high earners on say, 45% marginal tax rate, got a lot more back than lower earners, because the amount you paid for medical aid would reduce your taxable income directly. The new medical aid tax credits are great for lower earners, but not so nice for high earners.
 
Mine got allocated on the 11th. No progress yet, although my refund status is talking about an audit...

Consider yourself fortunate. I submitted 28th including the supporting documents for the verification case. I was allocated an official 2022/07/15 at 11:21:43 AM and it has been crickets since.

Lol, I think we have the same official. You know the kind to, sign out multiple tickets and pretend to be busy.

Well, they are in their 21 days so cest la vie I guess.

I submitted on 11 July, allocated official same day.... no movement since. Hang in there
