Telkom is confident that planned maintenance on SAT–3 won’t result in downtime, but cautioned of possible increased latency

My interwebs (Webafrica) just went all slow and kinda died between your post and this post. Still slowish.

I am also having HORRIBLE connectivity issues. Sometimes can and sometimes can't resolve IPs. Speeds stop and then work again. I couldn't open Google a few minutes ago!!!

I rebooted my router - didn't help. So I guess this is the SAT 3 issue?

BTW: I am with Cybersmart.

Unlike the other ISP's, Telkom actually has invested in those systems and they do work. While other ISP's lose international connectivity, Do Broadband subscribers are still getting full speed! Thats why the people complaining on the mybb are generally not Telkom Internet subscribers
