WebAfrica also seems to be down at least on the verizon unshaped account. Checking the other ones now.
Eh, you don't get that anymore, they have all been merged into webafricas network. If you put .v or .s on the unshaped it doesn't make a difference

I am told high latency is because SAT3 is on a restoration path. Anyone else hear anything like that

IS International Link Goes Down

Internet Solutions (IS) is currently experiencing high latency on supplying international bandwidth to its customers or is unable to supply it at all.
Do Gaming was notified of the problem by gamers using smaller ISPs who on-sell IS bandwidth.
When Do Gaming called the IS call centre, a pre-recorded message stated there was a problem on the IS backbone on both the London and Rosebank and New York and Cape Town links.
Gamers who need international bandwidth urgently can top up their Telkom Do Broadband accounts via the Telkom SA website.
Take a look at Dogaming shamelessly jumping on this and taking a stab at IS:
"IS International Link Goes Down"

Cant believe that. They actually post this as a headline article on their website. They fail to mention SAIX based ISPs are also experiencing the same problems, and then to top it off they throw in an advertisement at the end of the article for Do broadband accounts. Then the editor of the website (who wrote the article) defends his actions in the comments section below the article.
What a joke.
