Save me from Webafrica hell

Not CISP. Had to scratch my head a couple of times with account pages in Finnish. Ot whatever their masters use as a native language.
Is there something I can assist with?

I don't follow what it is you want, you slag our brand yet when I try to assist and investigate you just continue to slag.

Cool Ideas and Afrihost are the 2 ISPs that are the best at the moment in my opinion. They both have support here on the forum, and when you escalate here, the problem gets attended to. Websquad seems promising, but their forum presence seems to be lacking.

I use Cool Ideas with Frogfoot (200/200 Mbps), and @PBCool had helped to smooth things over, and I also use Afrihost with OpenServe (10/10 Mbps) as a backup, and there are also no issues so far. Frogfoot does not seem to be loadshed resilient, though, but that is not Cool Ideas' fault.

I had bad experience with smaller ISP's - I thought it is good to support local guys in Somerset West, but they simply do not have the backhaul or support to provide good service. The one company resold the account to Axxess at a premium, and it was a mess (HXSystems/Herotel), and when I cancelled after they admitted that they are at fault, they still charged me a disconnection fee. The other company (CapeConnect) seemed as if they did not have sufficient backhaul and I never achieved the required download speeds, especially international, and when i complained, my router setup was blamed, and when I proved to them that the router is not the bottleneck, they told me that they had done everything they could and terminated the contract. Since then, I have been on Cool Ideas (with the very same router setup CapeConnect blamed), and performance is amazingly stable. (I have all the logs to proof this - see also my other posts.)
 
So i would love to know why some of the ISP's are bad mouthed, but there is not one example of such bad service or responded to the request to investigate?

So are you trolling? If you have your case state it and we can see both sides of the story, if you don't then you should not post on a public forum. IMO
 
And no i am not with any of the ISP's and i have had my run in where i did not agree with one of them but never can i come onto a forum state they are terrible and post absolutely no evidence of my claim.
 
Good one! What I meant is that Afrihost and CoolIdeas have dedicated Forum Areas, where you have most WebSquad discussions all in one very long thread. Can you also create a dedicated forum area?

We’ve asked for one of those. But don’t qualify for the mystery criteria it seems. So for now, the long thread has to do.

General, a lot of people will compliance but not give any information like what happened when the logged the call ect. Just a response o they are bad dont go with them ..... give reasons!
