512k line. Max i got is about 50kb... average must be about 20-25kb since i signed on with the a/c yesterday.

Must say though, browsing is a bit sluggish compared to my Afrihost & DigiChilli accounts.

seriously thinking of screamer after no go at DC.
i till hope DC does work fully.

if only afrihost offered uncapped service!
that would solve all my problems!

There was some confusion between our WiMAX installation dates and ADSL client activation dates in our support centre but this has been sorted out.

ADSL client activations are taking up to 2 days max to get processed as we catch up with the backlog.

How does that work on a natted ip?

How many external ip's are currently connected to your network?

Brilliant, i'm sorted thanks! Looks like i will have some internet over new years afterall.
 
Just received my Screamer login :D so yes, they are activating new accounts.
 
Looks like it from my side as well. No network traffic.
 
Yep mine also went down about 2am, no network traffic....guess screamer did not quite make it into 2010.

Good old Telkom is with me at least.
 
Mmm ... the account I received yesterday cannot authenticate on the network. I've been calling the helpdesk since 8am, and at 11:30 was informed that the mailbox you leave your name and number in is full. So no Screamer connection for me, I guess.
 
Still down.....getting really irritated though, just when I cooled down from my Digichilli account, the screamer account goes down and now Digichilli is working great (as can be seen from the other thread) :(

Edit: Just tried again and it seems the network is up again. Lets hope it stays that way. :)

Sorry guys. There was a major problem this morning but it has been fixed now.

not from where I am sitting.

I connected about 15 minutes and access my nntp server - and then it dropped dead.

Thereafter, connected again - but nothing happening - nntp, web sites.
