Screamer Telecoms = daylight robbery

I need to vent about the absolutely appalling experience I've had with Screamer Telecom recently. Let me preface this by saying that I've had much better service from other FTTH companies without encountering anything close to the madness I've experienced with Screamer.

Firstly, let's talk about their call out fee. It's beyond ridiculous. I've been charged double what other, more reputable telecom companies charge for fiber, and for what? A simple cable reconnection. To add insult to injury, the technician they sent over was not only unfriendly and rude but also utterly unwelcome. And the cherry on top? They have the audacity to demand an absurd R860 for this so-called service.

I refuse to be taken advantage of like this. It's nothing short of blatant theft. All I asked for was a simple cable reconnection, not a royal visit from an unprofessional technician.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Screamer Telecom? How did you handle it? And does anyone have recommendations for ways to get fiber connected to my apartment block where UNFORTUNATELY only they are allowed to provide internet service. The owners refuse to go with any other provider.

You are too new here buddy. I think you need to first go and state which side you support in this thread: Choose-A-Side and then come back to proclaim your dismay at such and such ISP.

-Screamer Telecom......Name does say you will scream
-talk about their call out fee......There will always be a call out fee
-more reputable telecom companies charge for fiber......Its a trade off, Should have stayed with reputable guys
-not only unfriendly and rude but also utterly unwelcome.....reward for being cheap
-audacity to demand an absurd R860 for this so-called service......A symptom of being poor
UNFORTUNATELY only they are allowed to provide internet service....So you have no choice back to square 1
