Screamer WiMax

Hi Guys

We have noticed some spikes in latency on the WiMax network and are doing an upgrade which should be completed in about a week and a half to correct it.
 
My connection us unusable right now, pings to the screamer DNS are peaking at 700ms+, right now a dial-up would be better.
 
Is it just your latency?
What are your speeds like?

In my experience speeds are fine , but latency and packet loss is the issue we are experiencing. (then again , the market that this is affecting rarely needs speed over latency)

One of which is to be sorted out soon hopefully.
 
Yep, as I noted above we have seen the latency increase and are doing the necessary upgrade over the next week and a half.

what does this upgrade involve ?
u guys putting in new hardware ? etc etc

as last night was a really bad night for wow :( first one i have had this whole month..
not fun raiding ICC10 with a ping of 900ms :(
 
Okay Howzit,

You guys have sorted out the :

- Signal Issues!
- Disconnects!

Now just get us our latencies and we'll all be happy campers! x)
 
Okay,wow latencies are bouncing between 3000ms - 24000ms. However i can ping google UK in 200ms. Any idea's any1 ?

playable - no :(

I know your sorting things out but this is a little frustrating ... hope things get sorted soon :)
 
UDP is shaped to **** or something... HoN is also unplayable, but ICMP ping's are perfect??
 
My poor children .... they tried to play Wow this weekend and it was ridiculous how poor the latency was! At least my life is a less stressful now that I use it like a carrier pigeon :)
 
why do you guys @ screamer have to break something in order to fix it. Please howzit can i get an answer from you ! Must i suck up this crock of utter rubbish that all will be well in one week ? If not let me know and i can save my money on paying another months WOW subscription.

EDIT: My rant was started by stupidly high latencies again today 2000 - 12000ms.
