Screamer WiMax

So my speed today... (down graded from Wimax to Wifi)

International
Ping 418ms
Download 0.24Mps
upload .6Mps

Local:
Ping from 55ms to 218ms in the 3 tests I did
Download .40Mps
Upload .29Mps but as low a .08Mps

It seems that on a clear day its good but suffers on Bad days.. Wimax was no problem more stable..

So deciding if we should get 8ta and give it a go.. Will save R380 a month for the same 10Gig..

Hope it gets better soon.. bit of a pain to work on the net at present..

Looking at the uncapped 1mb package, but seriously R1799 p/m?????
No chance of better prices anytime soon?

Dont do it......Please dont do it! Its not worth 1.8k a month. Believe me, I had it for a year or so.
For the same price now Im getting 2Mbps download & 2Mpbs Upload witha latency of +-15ms.
Leave screamer as soon as you can. They are useless!!!!

well, since my fix, the only thing I have to complain about is a reset at midnight. other than that not much....... except I want more than 1mb line and more than 10gb cap :whistle:

Also have the 15ms pings, just not the up/down, and other wisps that cover my area ask even more......

Not sure if anyone else ia down, screamer wifi connection went down at around 4pm today, cannot get through on any of their numbers...

Wonder whats wrong?
 
down as well, given up complaining, just not worth it,they don't care, getting paperwork ready to cancel, had enough, can't take this poor service anymore, also investigating with Consumer Commission how can I hold them responsible etc, I guess we all should go that route

Hmmm..we've been up and running at the ka Hecate homestead for a couple of weeks without a significant interruption.

I wonder if I've just jinxed myself?
