Seacom/IS/Afrihost borked?

Getting this result on my line this morning:



Afrihost 1Mb/s uncapped account.

Downloaded about 1GB with it so far, so cannot have been switched over to IS.

Anyone else battling?

Update: Backup account with WebAfrica is going at full speed, so no line issue on my side.

I got switched to IS and when I questioned it, was told it was optional :wtf: where the message from AH was clearly switch or the service would stop.

I am cancelling my uncapped account with them. I hadn't downloaded that much and got throttled something horrible, and not too different to your stats. I either to find another ISP who isn't to millitant (or so it feels to me) or go capped. On a 4mbps and getting less than 50kbps is awful.

I am with Openweb. Have a 1mb uncapped gold account and getting 80-100 kbps. Only gripe is that the connection has been cutting off intermittently

Have you done a second test?
Most first tests are erratic, only the second and third ones are giving more truthfull results.
