Seacom Progress

the great thing is that the old dial-up SAT-3 cable had a max bandwidth of 400 g/b's if i am correct, and the Seacom cable has a massive 1.5 t/b's so the great thing is latency shouldn't be a problem along with international bandwidth:D

Isn't Neotel going to be doing the management of the Seacom resale facilities? Last I read something about this they had become the first customer of Seacom. My view ofcourse is that if they are now going to manage it then it'll just become a whole Telkom thing all over again.

Saw the flash progress indicator at SEACOM's website and thinking it's an awesome and simplistic way of letting people know how the project is progressing :D

Either my heuristics is way too paranoid or someone has pwned that site. Avira flagging it.

think your browser has been jacked.
Works fine here.

56 days to go.

either that or your av is buggered, currently on an irc channel and already 9 other guys have flagged it.

and had a system restore yesterday and a fresh install of FF so it's not the browser

Edit: Re-direct was from another location, site still being flagged

Ok, my bad, it wasn't redirecting but is still being flagged

I'm using Safari on a Mac, so not too worried.
