Sensor dust?

Dropping my old Cybershot on a concrete floor fixed the sensor dust issue and a problem with dry joints on the LCD screen - good as new!

I wouldn't recommend it for your cam though

Well my 400D is still going strong and the XTi (with dust) is insured . . . .

Hmm, I smell a plan. Can you afford the difference on a 5D?

My 350D and 30D are about two years old now and I have only used the rocket blower on them to clear sensor dust.

Best to is to take a picture of the blue sky with an aperture around f22 and lowest ISO to show up the sensor dust - I don't use such small apertures and don't bother cleaning the sensor if it doesn't show in my regular shooting.
