Serie a 2010/2011

Hmmm.......Milan v chievo, wonder what the odds will be.Tbh the serie a has declined since when I first started watching it around 2000.Don't hate me,I still like it but it does not have the same magic it used to.

That's perfectly fair. Back in 2000 italian clubs were the richest around but things have changed since then. a Lot of the clubs haven't moved with the times of clubs becoming more like business. The league and clubs need a lot of work but they have now finally starting taking small steps. The first was serie a breaking away from serie b like what happended in england in 1992.

Its still a very competitive league. You never see the 6-0,7-0,8-0 type of results but the level of football is probably not at the level of the 1990's.

Good performance by milan yesterday, roma will also be happy with their win. Juve very good vs lecce. We managed to get a win but it wasn't pretty but those are the games that make you champions, the 3 points are more important then the performance.

serie a tv games for the weekend saturday 20:45 fiorentina vs bari, sunday 12:30 parma vs roma, 15:00 lazio vs cagliari, 20:45 Inter vs Sampdoria and Monday 20:45 Napoli vs Milan.

Not sure if the last 2 games are 20:45 or 21:45. Depends when day light saving kicks in. But its 20:45 cet.

Really should have won tonight had countless good chances. Very rare that I see inter having 70% of the possesion but we did tonight. Coutinho was fantastic and eto'o with another goal. Maicon and chivu seriously need to go and have a look at themselves, they were very poor defensively. Really can't understand why santon isn't starting. Maybe jc could have done better on the shot as well.

So for now lazio still top.

The sooner rafa goes the better for us. He can blame injuries as much as he wants but its been a long time since I saw inter this unstructured. Even when mancin and mou had injuries the team still had structure.

Oh come one... look at what he did [-]to[/-]with Liverpool. A Champions League winner's medal and everything!

EDIT: Who do you think could replace him? Maybe Di Matteo? He's doing very well, though it would be a huge step up in class.

Has long has rafa is not in charge of buying players inter should bee fine

Obviously there is no candidate currently available as a long term replacement. It would have to be a caretaker like g.baresi till the summer.

Facts are this is the lowest points tally we have had at this stage of the season for 4 seasons.

I have no doudt rafa is a good cup manager but he seems to really struggling in the league and that's not good enough.

Inter have been poor for 4 straight games , that didn't happen with mancini or mou. Their sides always bounced back.

Edit:Rafa won't last past this season if he doesn't up his game considerably. If he doesn't win either the scudetto or cl he is gone, that goes for all inter managers.

LMAO! you believe RAFA was the right man for the job ROFLMAO!

I love how RAFA after 1 week being in charge states he needs time to change the team LMAO!

I didn't want him at the start but there weren't many options available this summer. He acutally started decently and gave me false hope. Now its all going downhill and fast.

Edit: Meant didn't. As those who remember when the first names popped up I wanted capello or hiddink of those mentioned.

Least this will prove to those RAFA faithfuls that he's a cook and not a good coach as they made him out to be :p

Now you know how I felt about Scolari... :(

Inter Milan boss Rafael Benitez has admitted that the number of problems he has encountered since taking over from Jose Mourinho has surprised him.

Benitez has been unable to prevent his side enduring a turbulent start to the season, with Inter outplayed by Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League last week and held at home by Brescia in the league

ROFL, Rafa thinks he can waltz into Inter and win the league and CL with minimal effort?

At this rate I doubt he'll last past January :D

Milan are really pissing me off - everytime I look at that team sheet I get infurated. Schit, it doesn't take THAT MUCH money to improve a squad like theirs. Idiotic transfer policy, much like Inter's a decade ago.

1 - 1 against... Lecce. stefan9 must be fuming!

Fuming doesn't describe it. We made lecce look liked barca in the first half and then when we get the lead we throw it away through slack marking, not that we deserved the 3 points but mou and mancini's sides always found a win to win these games in serie a. I am not seeing that from rafa's team.

Now we have the derby on sunday, it will either be redemption for rafa or things will very bad very fast for him.

If my memory serves me correctly, his sides always do well against the bigger teams. It's the smaller ones that pose problems as Rafa seems to have no way to motivate his players when playing against the smaller teams.

Doesn't seem to the case so far this season. Lost to roma, atletico, spurs and only managed a draw vs juve. Only big game he has won was the spurs game were they went down to 10.

But lets see what happens sunday.
