Setup Two Seperate Plex Servers on Same Network

Didn't see this in the menus, read about it in the email I got when I signed up for Plex Pass.

But anyway, after reading thru the link earlier, found where to edit these settings in the PMS and select in Freebase etc to get it to work. Going to test it but not sure it something I would use. I thought they were trailers of the specific movie so I can see I can see if it something I would enjoy.

Check under Extras.

It downloads trailers for your unwatched movies so you should be able to watch them manually before watching the movie.

Yeah that's exactly what I would like to do - so basically instead of going to YouTube on my phone to watch the trailer before deciding if I want to watch, I can do it right from the movie?

Do I need to set anything up for that?

Check the video I posted, skip to 1:30.

Do you mean you want to browse through your library and have the trailer of a specific movie you are considering?

Because that's exactly what the extras menu does, on your Roku or Apple TV on the preplay screen where you actually press play, choose subtitles etc there will be a menu called Extras with the trailer for that movie with deleted scenes, behind the scenes etc.

Yeah at the moment I use my phone to watch a trailer on YouTube before deciding if I want to watch the movie. So first prize would be to watch from the movie info section.

Is there anything extra I need to setup?

Great will have a look at the settings. Hopefully it just straight forward.

I don't think I did anything extra to have the trailers, but I think a caveat is you have to refresh your metadata or it will only be for future movies.

Yeah just refreshed my movies section now.

Does it download a lot of data? Or do you know roughly how how much per movie etc?

I haven't recently had a look at the trailer stuff but it doesn't actually store the trailers on your HDD, it's just a streaming source available in app.

Also just double check you are running PMS 1.0.1, specifically for this:

Updated Plex Web to 2.7.4.

Updated Media Flags bundle.

(Preferences) Advanced preference to run the scanner at low priority (intended for low-powered devices). (#4845)

(Metadata) Rename Freebase Agent to Plex Movie Agent.

(Metadata) Plex Movie Agent combines the best possible metadata from multiple sources (IMDb, The Movie Database, and Rotten Tomatoes).

(Metadata) Added preferences to Plex Movie Agent and TheTVDB Agent to control metadata source of rating, cast info, and summary.

(Metadata) Allow TheTVDB agent to use The Movie DB's HD episode images, so you can have the best of both worlds.

(Metadata) Upgrade to TheTVDB API v2.

OK cool.

Just did a "refresh all" on one of my media folders so will see if I got the trailers and extras working once it is done.

You could've just refreshed one movie to check if it's working but I see no reason why it shouldn't.

Yeah realized that after I started but decided to just let it go.

So once done, wether watching on roku, iOS or PC, will there be a button called extras when I'm in a movie before pressing play? Or do I need to activate the button somewhere else?

It will just be there, you will see it, in the webUI if you go into a movie it will on the same page under the plot.
