See this company is still at it in 2024/2025. Had an unpleasant experience with them and their partner company CT International. They still running the same scam where they convince you that you need their software to Trade on the JSE. The salesperson make you believe that you are paying of the R38 000 to Sharetrackin ,they don't disclose that you are actually taking out a loan for R67 000. R38k for Sharetrackin,R20500 for interest, to CTI and another R9000 in fees and life insurance. I have come to find that the so called software is absolutely useless as a training platform, the simulation is just a page where you manually have to fill in all the details of the pretend trade. Nothing close to lets say a demo trading account. There's a few training videos on, couple of top Trading companies on the JSE . Not worth any money. Therein the scam. The indebt you with R67K to give you a login to something you will never use. You can't trade and all the training videos are on Youtube. So where is the value in that.
They also lie about everything during the sales pitch.
The salesman will convince you it only takes 10 min to fill in the recommendations the provide -the JSE company, where to by, where to sell ,where to take profit. But after you signed the contract its only for educational purposes. You can't use it
You will be promised 40% growth on your equity. You will make enough money to pay for the software and more on the R5 000 they give you. They give you nothing ,you pay for it +interest.
The salesperson also assured me I could cancel anytime if it doesn't work for me. I see the catch a lot of people with this.
They will not tell you that you are signing up to be in a 2 year training program. After all my concerns raised with the salesman about finances and time constraints he did not disclose this to me, but rather promised ease of use and the minimal time spend to fill in the Gurus recommendations. Never said anything about a loan, but made out that I can simply pay it of. CTI also call on behalf of Sharetrackin, never disclosing that the are a loan company, just calling about your Sharetrackin software.
At the end of the day Sharetrackin is running a unethical business to entangle you with debt pretending to help you Trade to financial freedom. They do not disclose crucial information. Most people I read about also sign the contract and it gets filled in by the salesperson after the meeting to conceal the Interest and costs involved. The also do not send you the contract between yourself and CTI for this very reason. Sharetrackin and CTI is running hand in hand a clever scam but quickly distance themself from each other pretending they know anything about the other companies dealings.
You can follow this link to see more about what they do, you can also send your experience to their relevant department to create awareness

The mind boggles. That people get scammed by sh$t like this. Anyway, moving along...

Condolences.

Was it also very noise in the background of the sales caller? I just kept saying I can't hear him over the noise and eventually I disconnected the call.

yip - all sounded good. blinded by 40% returns.

No red flags....
Sadly if you are not internet savvy, which is still not totally uncommon circa 2024, you can fall prey to these scams quite easily, nevermind the agents are very pushy and manipulative. It must be really painful flushing all that money down the drain.

Unfortunately was in a desperate place, with a misplaced trust in people thinking they have your best interests at heart. Horrified when I eventually realised whats happening

Have you guys finished paying them off?
I’m assuming they make the contract watertight and use scaly debt collectors if you try bail on the repayments?
Quite clever of them to make two scammer companies, one to sell the "product" and one to "loan" the money so that the loan department can claim they are no part of the scam and hence you need to pay up.

That being said I wonder if the loan company will have any proof they paid any monies over to the product company, considering they are behind the scenes one and the same business, you might have grounds to dispute their debt claim if they have no verifiable proof that monies were transferred between the two companies at the time of the "purchase" and hence no debt was created.

No not paid of yet, these 2 companies according to Cti employee has been in business together since 2010. So a well oiled scamming machine. Sharetrackin take their R38k immediately, aparantly. Will request that info from them to see where the money went. Thanks

I’d find out what proof is required by law that the debt was created, other than their phony "contract"

how does an adult get 'bullied' into buying something?
