Sharks Supporters Thread ver. 2008

Oh, what a chicken! You are already putting your safety net in place! Pathetic!

:)

Coming from a whiney little kid like you im inclined to laugh.... :)

I still think the Bulls will win, all im wondering is what your excuse will be next time

Taking into consideration that we're missing some big names, are trying to blood youngsters and have a new coach ....... I am p*ssed with that game. Plumtree seems, in these early days (and I hope I'm wrong), to be of the same mould as Putt :o Some of his decisions boggle the mind .... and with that, here is who I reckon should stay or go -

15. Stefan Terblanche - just someone tell him to not fscking kick so much.
14. Monty Dumond - still 50-50 with this chap.
13. Waylon Murray - needs to regain his style (maybe tis the coach eh).
12. Andries Strauss - send this clown far far away ..... now
11. Henno Mentz - still respect him.
10. Brad Barritt - such a pity he was pulled with injury ... missed.
09. Scott Mathie - how he started ahead of McLeod I don't know ...
08. Keegan Daniel - one of the stars ... respect.
07. Nic Strauss - go back to club rugby bru, you need more practice.
06. Jacques Botes - quieter than usual but deserves his place.
05. Johann Muller ( Capt ) - snap outta your slump bru ... you're needed.
04. Albert van den Berg - always plays well.
03. BJ Botha - why he is here and not with the Boks I dunno ... star player.
02. Skipper Badenhorst - eish, surely we have better choices
01. Deon Carstens - another star in the front row.

16. Craig Burden - coming along nicely as a hooker ... stick with him.
17. Jannie du Plessis - nice aggressive front rower.
18. Alistair Hargreaves - needs more game time ... maybe a mentor.
19. Skholiwe Ndlovu - has sort of impressed so far.
20. Charl McLeod - should have started as scrummie.
21. Riaan Swanepoel - too little seen to pass judgement.
22. Chris Jordaan - same as above.

Sorry buddy, the same thing happened to the bulls at the start of the super 14, strange you did not see that as a hampering, but oh no not when it comes to the sharks. The bulls also started with a new coach and a lot of new players.

Accept it, you lost, here let me help you build this bridge, SO YOU SHARK SUPPORTERS CAN GET OVER IT!!

Bru ....... I'm stating what I think of the current Sharks team ........ what are you going on about.

I was replying to the opening remark of your coach "new players and new coach".

Hope it did not come off as being rude, not my attention, just basking in the glory of a bulls win :D

aah, didn't think it was rude anyway, lol, just confuzzled me ....... and the new players, new coach statement meant nothing coz I still said how disgusted I was with that game ;)

No problem, now I need to go and score some seasons tickets, had awesome seats, need to make a lot of rich "laywery" type friends

sure you want season tickets ........... it's not as if your team is gonna make the semi's or anything *innocent whistle* :p

Ha ha ha ha ha you so funny, no actually the bulls have experience in going past the semis and finals you know, and they also understand that a game is 80 minutes not 78 (as almost proven again saturday).

But I have to give something to the sharks, saturday they had way more speed that the bulls, unfortunately they handled the ball like a teenage boy with a bra clasp

Anyone notice what a shocking game the ref and his assistants had? I'm a Lions supporter (yeah yeah ... no abuse necessary here :) ) and was looking foward to a good game of rugby between 2 sides I don't really support either way.
Unfortunately between JC Fortuin and Michael Cupico the match was forced into a serious stop-start affair

Not only were majority of the referals unneccessary, they seemed to take fsking hours and then on top of that we had the odd totally wrong decision being made... I mean ffs, how could Danie Rossouws try be dissallowed for a "second movement" ???!?!?!?

I will definitely boycott any match where these two poephols are in charge again ... no matter who is playing

Confusion reigns supreme after another sub sub standard performance .......... couple of positives though - 1) Ndlovu - I reckon we have something in this chap, showed promise in defence too. 2) Bodmer played ok for a debut and will hopefully continue to grow. 3) are we lucky to get Freddy back! What a difference when he came on.

Negatives - why is (again) Mathie there ... he is useless  Apart from kicking duties, Dumond seems to know absolutely jack sh*t about rugby. Nic Strauss, sorry bru, your defence is pathetic .... go back to club rugby. And also again, Strauss is not cut out for any rugby above maybe the Vodacom Cup (and thats pushing it even).

/end rant :D

We need to talk slower when the Bulls fans come on here Mephisto... we tend to forget that and they battle to follow. In fact they seem very slow as a lot of them keep referring to winning the Super 14 which I am not sure they realise was over a year ago already and someone else is champion now. So let's just t a l k s l o w e r f o r t h e m

I know you poor sharks always have your finals to hold on to, unfortunately, winning finals is not actually part of your strategy. Well SA won today so you could at least see one winning team

Welcome to the Putt era ........ again  Plumtree ........... fsck off now please.

This is by no means excuses but a reflection on reality.... the Sharks have lost a stack of players to the Boks and a further stack through injury. Yes, all teams suffer injuries but not sure I am aware of a team that has lost so many players at the beginning of one season. I myself am not at all concerned about the coaches or anything of the sort. At worst we may not have a great Currie Cup but we are blooding a stack of new players who will now be in the wings waiting for Super 14 places... the future still looks good! :)

The first half was awfull.

Even losing so many 1st team players is no excuse for that display:o
